Ari is a licensed clinical social worker specializing in child, adolescent and young adult psychotherapy. He earned a bachelor’s in psychology from Brandeis University and a master’s in social work from City University of New York – Hunter College School of Social Work. Ari received postgraduate training at the William Alanson White Institute, where he earned a certificate in child and adolescent psychotherapy.
Ari customizes treatment to meet the unique needs and personality of each individual he treats. He strives to help you or your child feel happier, more confident and better able to cope with difficulties. Ari meets with parents regularly to discuss your concerns or just to check in. His passion is helping individuals to feel better about themselves, to understand their inner worlds and their environments, and to help them cope with the difficulties they face in their daily lives.
Ari has worked extensively with children, adolescents and adults in schools, mental health clinics and in private practice. In addition to his individual work, he has facilitated therapy groups with children and adults. He also started a group for parents to discuss their feelings and concerns about parenting.
